I’ve started a new category called “error heads”. I experience a lot of dumb things on the internet. It reminds me of that scene in Goldmember where Austin is introducing the internet to Foxy played by Beyonce Knowles. He calls it a critical infrastructure for mass communication or something like that. Browsing the news today, I came across the continuing coverage of Comcast’s efforts to shape and prioritize the internet traffic of their subscribers. They also have a hidden limit on the amount of transfer you can use each month. The Google ads AI must have a sense of irony in all of this. Check out the screen shot on the left to see what I mean. Any guesses on the click through rate for that ad?
